Berlin – KYP.ai has been named a Representative Vendor in the 2026 Gartner® Market Guide for Task Mining Tools, published on 11 May 2026. It is the company’s third consecutive appearance in the guide, following the 2023 and 2025 editions. No edition was published in 2024.
Task mining tools capture how people interact with applications at the desktop level – keystrokes, clicks, data entries – and turn that record into a picture of where work actually goes. For most enterprises that layer has never been visible. System logs show the transaction. They do not show the twenty minutes of manual work that produced it.
That gap matters more now that enterprises are putting AI agents into production. On the design of AI agents, Gartner states: “No matter the astonishing execution capabilities of these AI agents, their design accuracy will ultimately define their success.”
“Task mining stopped being a diagnostic exercise the moment agents went into production. An agent is only as good as the ground truth it was designed from, and most organisations do not have that record,” said Dr. Adam Bujak, CEO and Co-Founder of KYP.ai.
KYP.ai, headquartered in Berlin, captures desktop-level work, quantifies where the effort and the money actually go, and generates production-ready agent code that runs on whatever agentic platform the customer already uses.
